History
Acme Transportation Company began operations over 75 years ago as Acme Parcel Delivery, Inc., delivering packages in the Chicago Loop on bicycles and motorcycles.
By the 1950s, the company expanded operations to include trucking throughout the Chicagoland area. By the turn of the 21st century Acme had grown to include local and regional trucking, intermodal drayage, warehousing and logistics.

Acme is a local and regional carrier serving the Midwest United States within a 500-mile radius of Chicago. States served directly by Acme trucks include Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin. Through its logistics arm and partner carriers, Acme is capable of moving freight throughout the U.S, Canada, Mexico and the world.
